Vision

DEKSA are aiming to revive the Karaton Surakarta Hadiningrat as a living symbol of Javanese culture and heritage, accessible to all through technology and digital ecosystem.

Mission

  1. To create a digital archive of the Karaton Surakarta Hadiningrat and it's cultural heritage, and to share this archive with the world through online platforms and educational programs.

  2. To revive the traditions of the palace by teaching them to a new generation of Javanese artists and performers, and to work with other organizations to ensure that the Karaton is not lost to history.
